On August 21, iQOO will introduce the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro in India. The main specifications of the Z9s and Z9s Pro were unveiled today by iQOO, who stated that they are intended for young multitaskers who are "primarily college students and young professionals who are balancing work/academics, social life, and extracurricular activities and their need for fast connectivity and seamless entertainment." Until now, the brand has not disclosed the full specs sheets of the phones.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC will power the iQOO Z9s Pro, whilst the Dimensity 7300 processor will power the iQOO Z9s. A 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with OIS, 4K video, and Super Night Mode will be available on both devices. They will also include AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase, while the Z9s Pro will have an 8MP ultrawide camera.

The Z9s series, according to iQOO, would include a 3D curved AMOLED display and be 7.49 mm thin. The Z9s Pro's panel will have a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, whilst the Z9s' screen will have a local peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

The 5,500 mAh battery that powers the iQOO Z9s Pro will be produced at Vivo's Greater Noida plant in India as part of the company's pledge to support the "Make in India" initiative of the Indian government.

The Z9s and Z9s Pro's pricing were not disclosed by iQOO, however, based on the press release we got, it appears that both phones will cost less than INR25,000 ($300/€275) in India.
