Peugeot concluded that it would be wise to include ChatGPT in every model in its inventory, including the most recent EVs. This move, intended to improve driving experiences by utilizing artificial intelligence, comes after a successful pilot program involving over 10,000 clients.

New Peugeot EVs, including the e-208, e-2008, and e-308, will automatically have ChatGPT, which can be accessed via the voice assistant in the i-Cockpit. This will take effect immediately. Current users will receive an over-the-air update with the feature. By year's end, the e-3008 and e-5008 will come next.

The incorporation of ChatGPT into Peugeot's i-Cockpit is expected to revolutionize the way drivers engage with their cars. Arriving in a new city shouldn't be as worrisome with ChatGPT's ability to offer intelligent responses to a variety of queries. ChatGPT can do more than just respond to inquiries. Extended drives with fidgety kids? A quiz on their preferred subjects can be arranged by ChatGPT to keep them interested and occupied for several hours.

ChatGPT says it can perform several things, like recommending the ideal location for a romantic evening and locating the closest charging station. However, heed my warning: the pizza-cooking recipes are a tad sticky.

Note that the new functionality isn't quite free, though. ChatGPT is accessible to existing Peugeot EV owners as a part of the Connect Plus package, which costs €120 annually. Alternatively, for an annual charge of €15, it may be added as a stand-alone function. For the first six months following purchase, ChatGPT will be part of the Connect Plus package for new Peugeot EVs; beyond that, a subscription will be needed.
