The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have arrived at our office and are prepared for examination. A fresh case design and a host of additional features—some driven by AI—come with the new Buds3 Pro.

Most notably, a change has also been made to the earphones themselves. They have stems that Samsung insists on referring to as "blades"; the pointed angles at least help to explain why. Their ability to identify a variety of movements, like as swiping, adds convenience to the entire process. An LED strip that runs along each blade makes them glow as well.

2-way speakers with 6.1mm planar tweeters and 10.5mm dynamic drivers with twin amps may be installed in the new shell. To increase the sample rate and enhance sound quality even further, they also support the SSC codec.

Naturally, Active Noise Cancellation is still an option, but with the help of AI-powered algorithms, some essential sounds—like sirens and voices—can now be recognized and allowed to pass through. During a call, the AI also assists in clearing up the sound coming from the other end of the discussion.

With the new 53 mAh batteries within each bud, the Buds3 Pro can run for up to 6 hours while using ANC and 26 hours overall when using the 515 mAh battery in the case (which doesn't change).

As you can see, there's a lot to talk about, including sound quality, battery life, and new, complex functions. In our next in-depth review, we'll be sure to test the whole feature set.
