Although the Vivo V40 has been available for purchase in Europe for some time, the business has yet to formally announce its launch. Alongside the Vivo V40 Pro, it makes its debut. Both devices maintain their incredibly thin shells while offering significant battery capacity improvements. Included in the package are new camera configurations and designs.

While the Vivo V40 Pro advanced significantly and now has a Dimensity 9200+ chip—much more potent than the Dimensity 8200 that powered the previous three vivo V Pro phones—the vivo V40 retained the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 from the Vivo V30.

Both the V40 and V40 Pro have the same 6.78" AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels. They also measure 164.2 x 74.9 x 7.58 mm.

The screen is now much brighter than the V30 series panel, reaching a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. One 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 camera can be placed through the panel's punch hole.

The V40 Pro's rear features three cameras: a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor with an unidentified sensor, a 50 MP telephoto portrait camera with a Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50 MP primary camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor.

According to the firm, the vanilla V40 has two cameras on the island: a 50 MP main and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera that is inspired by the celestial constellation Gemini.

OIS and an AI Aura Light Portrait powered by a ring LED flash are features of the primary cameras.

Based on Android 14, Funtouch OS 14 is pre-installed on the phones. "50-month smooth experience," which refers to the duration of the software support, is what the corporation promises. To further prolong the life of the phones, the batteries are guaranteed to complete 1,600 full cycles and hold at least 80% of their initial capacity.

More astonishingly, the V40 and V40 Pro feature the largest batteries in the Vivo V series to date—5,500 mAh. Additionally, they enable quick 80W FlashCharge via wire.

Three memory capacities are available for the Vivo V40: 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB. There are three main varieties of the Vivo V40 Pro available: 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB.

Meteor Blue, Moonlight White, and Stellar Silver are the hues available for both Vivo phones; however, the V40 boasts two more paint jobs: Nebula Purple and Sunglow Peach.

In addition to the original model's availability in Europe, the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro are no longer available in India. After that, the two will progressively expand to more vivo-served markets. The starting price of the Vivo V40 is INR39,999 in India and €500 in Europe, while the base price of the Vivo V40 Pro is INR54,999.
