As per a recent Chinese rumor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to have three distinct material options on its back—one more than its predecessor, which was released earlier this year.

Weibo's well-known Digital Chat Station informs us that there will be variations of the 15 Ultra with glass, ceramic, and faux leather backs. Since those are the only finishes that are now widely used on high-end devices, it won't be easy to not find one that you like.


Like the 14 Ultra, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and have a "2K" (also known as QHD+) touchscreen with micro-curves around the edges. Once more, the camera bump will be a large circle with a horizontal center on the back.

According to an earlier rumor, the smartphone would have a 200 MP periscope zoom camera, which offers 4. something x zoom. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, like its predecessor, which we've examined in-depth here, is positioned to be quite the image beast. If the launch window stays the same as the previous one, the 15 Ultra should officially debut at the MWC in Barcelona in February.
