After its WWDC 24 conference, Apple published the first public betas of its new operating systems a little more than a month ago. These consist of watchOS 11, tvOS 18, macOS Sequoia, iOS 18, and iPadOS 18. For iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, Apple has already made three developer betas available. The final release versions will be available this autumn.

Regular users may typically feel comfortable using the public betas as most of the issues from the developer betas have been fixed. Apple continues to advise customers against installing beta software on their main devices. Enrolling in the Apple beta software program and backing up all of your data are essential for those who wish to test out the latest betas.
