After introducing its Galaxy AI feature suite to its premium smartphone lines, Samsung is preparing to move on to the next logical step: extend Galaxy AI to its mid-range smartphones.

As part of its One UI 6.1.1 update, the Galaxy A55 and A35 will presumably be the first to receive Galaxy AI, according to a fresh report released today.


The report gives us a broad schedule of "this month or the next," but it doesn't specify when we can expect this to happen. But be aware that not all Galaxy AI features will be accessible on these mid-range smartphones.

Unfortunately, there isn't any further information available at this time regarding which features will and won't be included. It is highly probable that Samsung will exclude devices that require the highest processing power, as the A55 and A35 have limited processing capacity.

It's also unclear if Galaxy AI will be available on the A55 and A35, or if it will just be available on the initial A-series devices. To try and boost sales, Samsung might wish to restrict the suite's rollout to its newest smartphones.
