A deconstruction of the code included in the most recent iteration of Samsung's Health app indicates that the firm intends to soon integrate a practical new function into its smartwatches. Using your smartphone, you will be able to keep an eye on health information gathered by a wristwatch for a kid or other family member.

Naturally, there will be an approval procedure in place to get things going, allowing one Samsung account to handle the health data for other accounts. To prevent misuse of this function, security, and privacy measures are integrated. Each family group member has the freedom to modify their data sharing preferences, including what and how much they share. A legal guardian's approval is also necessary to see a child's medical records.

If there is a prolonged period of inactivity, shared data will be immediately erased and the sharing authorization will be revoked, requiring you to go through the entire approval procedure again. Your child or other family member must wear their Galaxy Watch all the time for the data to be continuously filled.

It's not difficult to guess that this function will make its debut on the next Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which are scheduled to go on sale on July 10 of next week. Let's hope that occurs with the One UI 6 Watch upgrade, but nothing is stopping Samsung from delivering this to earlier wristwatch models too.
