When Xiaomi's 15 and 15 Pro become public in October, they will be the first smartphones in the world to employ Qualcomm's forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU. They have already been the subject of several rumors even though it is still many months away, and now some fresh alleged spec sheets for both have surfaced in China. Now let's get started.
A 6.36-inch "1.5K" touchscreen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 1,400 nits in high brightness mode is reportedly included in the Xiaomi 15. Other specifications include up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,800–4,900 mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
It will have IP68 certification against water and dust intrusion. Three 50 MP cameras will be located on the back: a 1/1.31" main camera with an OmniVision OV50H sensor and ultrawide and 3x zoom cameras using Samsung's ISOCELL JN1 (1/2.76"). There will be a 32 MP front camera.
The 5.400 mAh battery of the Xiaomi 15 Pro supports both 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. It also features a 6.73-inch "2K" screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 1,400-nit brightness while in High Brightness Mode, ingress protection, a selfie camera, and maximum RAM and storage quantities.
The primary snapper, the 50 MP OmniVision OV50N sensor (1/1.3", f/1.4 aperture), the ultrawide, the 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, and the 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto, the 50 MP 1/1.95" sensor, which has yet to be identified, will make up the camera system.
