The Note 40s, another phone in the Note 40 series from Infinix, is anticipated to be released soon to join its brothers, the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 Pro+. The Note 40 Pro+ has even been the subject of a thorough evaluation. Unexpectedly, the Note 40s with all of its specs appeared on Infinix's official website.
The Note 40s features very comparable specifications to its family, as would be anticipated. It has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD resolution, and side curvature. It appears to be the same panel seen in the Note 40 Pro+, which we tested and found to be quite good.
In the Note 40s scenario, the more potent Dimensity 7020 SoC has been swapped out for the Helio G99, which is paired with a single memory combination of 8GB/256GB.
The camera section appears to have been inspired by the Pro+ as well, including a 108MP f/1.9 primary camera in addition to a 2MP macro lens. There is a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera on the front.
The hardware is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, which is more than the Pro+ provides. However, the charging speed is just 33W, whereas the Plus supports a faster 100W.
Other noteworthy features include JBL-tuned stereo speakers, IP54 ingress protection against splashes and dust, discreet LED lighting on the back (which Infinix refers to as Active Halo Design), and a MagKit case that enables you to use a MagPad wireless charger because the handset supports wireless charging at up to 20W. In the pricing range, that is one unique feature. Pricing and availability have not yet been revealed.
