Although there isn't a Realme GT6 at the moment, it appears that two different, but distinct, gadgets bearing the same name will be released in a few weeks. Still unclear? A Realme VP disclosed last week that the GT6's global release is scheduled for June 20. There are rumors that this is the Chinese Realme GT Neo6 rebranded.

But a GT6 with a more advanced SoC will also be released in China. And now, the specifications for this one were made public. It is reported that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (as opposed to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for the worldwide variant) powers the Chinese GT6.

It will also reportedly include a metal frame, a 50 MP primary back camera, and a "1.5K" flat OLED screen made by BOE. It will be equipped with a 100W rapid wired charging capable 6,000 mAh battery.

The Chinese gadget manufacturer has reportedly accelerated the launch of the GT6 because of the earlier than normal anticipated introduction of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October. The GT6 is slated to debut either this month or in July.
