The well-known Chinese leaker going by the handle Digital Chat Station claims that the iQOO 13 Pro might not be released. This is due to the fact that Vivo's sub-brand is now testing a prototype of the iQOO 13, which will supersede the Pro model.

With an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, this is rumored to have a "2K" flat screen.

DCS says that if this is the iQOO 13, which is anticipated to ship later this year, then there won't be a need for an iQOO 13 Pro because the "vanilla" model is already sufficiently high-end. However, he doesn't provide us with any other specs.

That's a bold statement, to be sure, but we've recently seen something similar happen at OnePlus, where we used to have both a Pro and a "vanilla" flagship, but now we only have one. Thus, iQOO might very well take a cue from OnePlus in this area.

As with its predecessor last year, the iQOO 13 is anticipated to be among the first few gadgets to be released with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.
