Following a rigorous durability test that involved burns, scratches, and bends on the recently released 13-inch iPad Pro, the next natural step is today's deconstruction video.

This time, it comes from the Phone Repair Guru YouTube channel. If you've ever wondered what's inside the tiniest product that Apple has ever produced—not simply the thinnest tablet—you can stop wondering now.

This tablet is an engineering marvel in and of itself—though let's not forget that the port might be to blame for the iPad's "performance" in the previously mentioned bend test. The tablet is only slightly thicker than its USB-C connector. It does have the benefit of being relatively easily replaceable, though.

Inside, two battery packs encircle the entire logic board, which is positioned in the center with two speakers on either end. Apple merely made sure that nothing else was positioned between the batteries, the screen, and the back plate. The internal design is far simpler than you might have imagined.

It's extremely obvious to notice that the front-facing camera array has moved to the longer side of the chassis, where it will be more useful while holding the device in landscape mode. The internal components are largely comparable to those of the previous iPad Pro.

The pull tabs on the batteries make removal simple, and the tablet has a copper Apple logo tucked away deep inside that doubles as a heatsink.
