Since leaving the smartphone industry earlier this year, Meizu has introduced two more phones, for a total of three. There is no Snapdragon 8 in the Meizu Blue 20, which is a low-cost smartphone with a Unisoc T765 processor (6nm). The phone is merely marked as "coming soon" and has a placeholder price tag, thus the exact cost is unknown at this time. For now, we are aware that it will be available in 6/128GB and 8/256GB models.

The chipset provides all the AI you could want together with a 5G connection. Both a chatbot and an AI-assisted writing function are available. Ask the AI to take a picture instead of using a camera to capture one. If you do manage to take a picture, though, you may enlarge the scene by using the uncrop tool on it.

About the camera, Meizu is acting strangely. If you read the tiny print, you will discover that the listed 50MP back and 8MP front cameras are software interpolations from 13MP and 5MP sensors, respectively.

Anyhow, let's get back to AI. The operating system, known as "Flyme AI OS," furthermore has some clever privacy and security features.

There is a 6.52" display on the front with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This is a cheap model, as seen by the selfie camera notch, but there are benefits as well. These days, only budget models come with 3.5mm headphone jacks and microSD card slots (the Blue 20 accepts cards up to 2TB). On board are stereo speakers as well.

The phone uses a 5,010mAh battery, which can be charged over USB-C at an unspecified pace. Meizu did not specify the brand names or the device's enhanced 2.5D glass on the front, but it is 8.3 mm thick.

There's no word on whether the business would release the Meizu Blue 20 outside of China.
