At a major event in China, Motorola unveiled the Razr 50 series, and the Moto S50 Neo is the company's latest addition to the S-series lineup. This intermediate device has a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz), a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging, and a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU.

Gray, Olivine, and Surf are the three colors that Motorola is providing for the S50 Neo. These colors were created in collaboration with Pantone. For an added touch of flair, the latter two also include a textile-like nanotexture back with a wear-resistant and skin-friendly finish.

A 50MP primary camera with 4-to-1 pixel binning and an F/1.79 aperture Sony IMX882 sensor is housed in the rear. An 8MP ultrawide lens with a 118-degree field of view joins it, and a 32MP camera is housed in the front punch-hole cutout.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU, 8/12GB RAM, and 256/512GB expandable storage are all included in the S50 Neo. A microSD card slot allows for additional storage capacity. Android 14 covers the software end.

The 8/256GB version of the Motorola S50 Neo is priced at CNY 1,399 ($192). There's a 12/256GB model priced at CNY 1,599 ($220) and a 12/512GB variant, which is the most expensive, priced at CNY 1,899 ($261). In China, open sales begin on Friday, June 28. It's also anticipated that the gadget will be unveiled as the Moto G85 abroad.
