The most recent release from today's significant Xiaomi event is the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition. It finishes as the most recent entry in a series that began in late 2023.

The performance-oriented gadget has a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ CPU that can accommodate 12 GB, 16 GB, or 24 GB of RAM. The internal high-revving CPU can boost the speed of its Cortex-X4 core up to 3.4GHz.

The Dimensity 9300+ comes with a unique discrete graphics D1 chip. 144Hz content may be driven by this 12nm display device, which provides 3x interpolation up to "1.5K resolution" (or 1080p). The chip is said to cut down on power usage by around 15% when playing games.

Then there is the unique 3D cooling chamber, which has a 3° temperature reduction capability.

The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition's body is supported by a metal frame, and Xiaomi employed their Longjing glass for the front and back of the device for the first time. Additionally, certified IP68 is the K70 Extreme Edition.

The 6.67-inch 2712x1220px 144Hz OLED display, which has a nominal brightness of 1,600 nits and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, is the focal point of the phone. Its immediate touch sampling rate is 2160Hz, while its typical touch sampling rate is 480Hz. The panel also has 3840Hz PWM dimming.

The Sony IMX906 50MP 1/1.56" primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter are located around the rear. There is a 20MP selfie camera up front.

The K70 Extreme Edition is powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W charging. A Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip keeps an eye on charging, while a G1 chip protects the condition of the battery.

The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition is available for CNY 2,599 (converted into €330, £270, $360, and INR 30,000). It comes in Blue, White, or Black and may be customized in 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16/512GB, or 16GB/1TB capacities.

Next up is the Lamborghini-badged Champion Edition, which costs CNY 3,999 (or, converted, €500/£420/$550/INR 46,000) and is available in a single 24 GB/1 TB version.
