This is the somewhat less powerful version of the Oppo Reno 12.

The Reno 12 boasts the same 6.7-inch 1080p display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz up front, but the non-Pro model has a double-curved Gorilla Glass 7i screen, while the Pro model has a quad-curved Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The storage (256 GB as opposed to 512 GB) and cameras (a 2 MP macro replaces the 50 MP 47mm zoom, and the front camera has a 32 MP sensor as opposed to a 50 MP one) are two more areas where the Reno 12 and the Pro diverge.

Positively, the front camera retains its autofocus and wide-angle 21mm f/2.0 lens.

The Astro Silver edition of our Reno 12 unit shares the Pro model's flowing curtain style. Given Oppo's emphasis on design, the striking design of the Reno series is hardly surprising.
