The Reno12 and Reno12 Pro are the two smartphones in Oppo's Reno12 line. With today's announcement of the Reno12 F by Oppo, that number is now three.

The Dimensity 6300 SoC powers the Oppo Reno12 F, which comes with 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card and 12GB of RAM. The smartphone has Oppo AI and runs ColorOS 14.0.1, which is based on Android 14. It consists of AI Speak, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, and AI Text Summary.

The Oppo Reno12 F features a fingerprint scanner beneath and an AGC DT-Star2 glass protector on the front with a 6.67" 120Hz FHD+ OLED. The display incorporates a central punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera, yet it is still functional in the event of rain.

Onto the rear, we have a large circular camera module that is similar in design to the Oppo Find N3 configuration. The module has a ring of illumination around it called Halo Light. This design, named Cosmos Ring, was influenced by high-end timepieces.

Three cameras are included in the circular module: a 2MP macro, an 8MP ultrawide (112° FOV), and a 50MP main. These include AI Studio, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, and AI Eraser 2.0, among other AI-powered functions.

Highlights of the Oppo Reno12 F also include an IP64 rating, USB-C, 45W charging, an IR Blaster, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Orange and green are the available colors for the Oppo Reno12 F; the latter is based on Peach Fuzz, the Pantone Color of 2024. Oppo's Thai website lists the smartphone, but the company has not yet provided information on its cost or availability.
