After receiving its 5G edition in May, the Redmi Pad Pro is now prepared to make its way onto the Indian market. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is set to arrive in India on July 29, as the company announced today on social media and a dedicated webpage for the future gadget.

Redmi highlights in it how the Pad Pro's screen is 33% larger than the Redmi Pad's, that it supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, that it has "loud and clear" quad speakers, that it has a battery life of over 33 days in standby mode and 12 hours of video playback, that it has a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, that it has interconnectivity options enabled by using Xiaomi's HyperOS, and, of course, that you can "go anywhere, do anything" thanks to a 5G connection.

Except for networking support, of course, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is the same as the Redmi Pad Pro without 5G. We've previously evaluated the Redmi Pad Pro, so be sure to read our detailed analysis if you're interested.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is equipped with a 12.1-inch 1600x2560 LCD touchscreen, a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 33W cable charging, two 8 MP cameras (one on the front, one on the back), 6/8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB of expandable storage. Xiaomi's HyperOS is installed on top of Android 14 OS.

Redmi had previously announced last week that the Redmi Pad SE 4G would join the Redmi Pad Pro 5G in India on July 29. Most likely, this is a Redmi Pad SE with 4G LTE installed.
