The MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which powers the next Samsung Galaxy A06, was regrettably discovered last week in the Geekbench database. This same SoC powered the Galaxy A05.

The FCC has now approved the Galaxy A06 for sale, and during this certification procedure, the battery capacity was disclosed. Given that it has a rating of 4,855 mAh, the normal value that will be advertised is 5,000 mAh. This is the same as what the A05 has to offer once again.

The Galaxy A06's dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE capabilities have also been made public by the FCC; 5G is not supported by this chipset, of course.

The dimensions of the Galaxy A06's height and breadth are 167.3 x 77.31 mm. This means that it is very little narrower and taller than the A05, which brings us to our first distinction between the two. To yet, no thickness figure has been disclosed.
