Since vivo's Y28 was first revealed in January, rumors have been circulating that the company is also developing the Y28 4G, which has already received FCC certification. The vivo Y28s 5G has now emerged through the Geekbench online database, bringing the family's total to three.

With Geekbench 6.3, the Y28s 5G, model number V2346, scored 1,707 points across multiple cores and 599 points in single cores. It has Android 14 preinstalled, presumably with Vivo's Funtouch OS 14 on top.

Although the benchmarked prototype featured 8GB of RAM, additional variants might be available at launch as usual. A MediaTek chipset, most likely the Dimensity 6300, made official in April, powers the phone.

Based on previous certifications from numerous international organizations, 15W wired charging will be supported by the Y28s 5G. With their launch approximately six months after the Y28, the Y28s may be considered a form of Y28 replacement.
