Last week, we discovered that WhatsApp was working on a feature allowing users to add individual chats and group chats to lists. We have now learned that WhatsApp is developing a feature that lets users filter conversations using these personalized lists.

WABetaInfo, who also posted screenshots demonstrating how users can filter chats through custom lists, is the source of this information. The existing labels in the app for "All," "Unread," and "Groups" will be accompanied by the labels for the custom lists. The filter name will be the same as the list name, and upon clicking it, the group and individual chats connected to that list will be displayed.

The Android beta version of WhatsApp, 2.24.18.16, was found to have this feature. But even beta users can't access it because it's still in development. However, it will be available to all users on the beta channel in the upcoming weeks, followed by a general release.
